  • Foster’s Market, the Millers’ favorite eatery in Durham and a quintessential local spot. We recommend the wraps, salad plates, and all the baked goods.

  • Parker & Otis, perfect for a casual sandwich, salad plate, or one of Durham’s best cups of coffee. You may find yourself browsing their wide selection of local knick-knacks for hours!

For a local dinner experience in Durham:

  • Pizzeria Toro, seasonal wood-fired pizzas in a lively setting. We recommend sitting at the window and watching Durham pass you by.

  • Mothers and Sons, a Miller family must—order the cacio e pepe and ask Sam’s dad about the time he was mistaken for a Duke student here!

  • Q Shack BBQ, a Salzman favorite, head to this long-standing barbecue restaurant if you’re looking for a real North Carolina BBQ experience.
